Leaving Vermont

We’re finally on our way! The car is packed and whatever we’ve forgotten we’ll pick up along the way. While putting Kermit the Frog in the car, I thought how interesting it is that I’m taking this trip with my family (3 extra people) in a Prius (small car). The 1993 road trip consisted of me and Kermit in a Toyota 4-Runner. Times change. And they’re much better. Thanks to everyone who has wished us well and I’m grateful for the ROAD TRIP SURVIVAL KIT that Deirdre, Karen and Patti gave me (Tequilla and chocolate), the books/games that Suzy sent and the GPS Stevo let us borrow. Off to Pennsylvania!

Planning the Trip

Here it is...just a week away and we’re going on a ROAD TRIP! Everything is pretty much purchased. All we have to do is organize the camping gear, clothes and fill the cooler. This weekend we’ll pack and be ready for the road by next Wednesday. I’m hoping to start the trip with ROAM by the B-52’s since it was the song I started my road trip with in 1993. Wish us luck!
